    This time we went during a busier time. Overall, our experience was pretty good. The waiter was nice, the food was enjoyable, and the area was clean. However, the hostess was a bit confused and tried to sit us down to 2 other tables, only to find them with dirty plates and not cleaned. We were sent back to the waiting area for a moment until they found us a table. It was alright though. There was one other issue, they were out of 2 things we tried to order, but that's the only real issue we had. I do want to mention though that the meatball sandwich can be a little on the dry side and it's much better if you add a side of marinara sauce. The chicken piccata was great and flavorful. I almost bought the chicken marsala based on the photo that shows on this restaurant's website, but I saw a yelp photo that looked a lot different. I asked the waiter which one their's actually looks like and he said the one on the yelp photos. So that was good to know. I would recommend this place to others.

    My friend and I stopped in for lunch and we had simply the best day! We had Mango Salad and it was so good. And healthy too. Perfect dressing. For dessert we split the fudge brownie with ice cream. The brownie was warm and fresh and tasted great. But the best part of our lunch for Amelia our server. She was professional, helpful and charming. We will be back soon. Thank you Skipolinis for such a warm and friendly atmosphere. We loved our lunch.

    Went to Skipolini's for lunch with my husband and brother-in-law (BIL) today. My husband and I had the lunch pizza and salad and BIL had a small mushroom and olive pizza. The lunch combo was really good! It came with a huge slice of pizza a side salad, garlic bread, and a cookie. Sometimes I'm weary of the pizza by the slice option because the pizza could've been sitting there for a while waiting to get ordered...but these slices were freshly made with two toppings at our choosing. My husband had Canadian bacon and pineapple, which is his go to pizza and I had pepperoni and mushroom. As you can see from the pictures, they do not skimp on the toppings. The crust was tasty - chewy yet still soft. The sauce was mild, not too spicy not too salty. BIL enjoyed his pizza and ate almost the whole thing. Next time, I'm encouraging him to get the pizza by the slice because two slices are probably just as big as the small pizza and he could have different toppings (up to 2) on each slice. The service was great. Our waitress took great care of us. She offered up the lunch pizza special as an option and checked on us often. The lunch combo typically comes with a Caesar salad, but I decided I preferred the mixed greens for a slight up charge. My pizza was originally plated with the Caesar so instead of throwing out the Caesar she brought me a side of the mixed greens and suggested we enjoy the Caesar as well (which I did). Although I have to say the mixed greens with salami, garbanzo beans, onions and cheese was delicious, while the Caesar was so-so. All of us ended up having leftover pizza, so no cooking tonight! We will definitely be back for more.

    For my Mom and Dad Friends on yelp. Do yourself a favor and ask to be seated on the patio and let your monsters (I mean kids) go play on the play structure while you enjoy a nice night and some sparkling rose. The cajun pasta is a go to for me and I usually have enough to eat the next day. My Son is always a fan of the build your own pizza and brags about how cool it is he made to anyone around who will listen. They have a great selection of happy hour food/drinks and the service is pretty good. Shout out to the bar tender there and her peaches. No really (no HR case here), she brings her own peaches and makes the BEST sangria you could think of. Solid family oriented restaurant in the heart of Rocklin who can let us sip in peace while the kids get all the energy out. PS: in house brewery and gelato- YES PLEASE!
